About 700 Azerbaijani citizens will be evacuated from Ukraine

Today, on March 2, 2022, about 700 more Azerbaijanis who arrived from Ukraine to Moldova will be evacuated, day.az reports citing Azerbaijani Ambassador to Moldova Gudsi Osmanov.

According to the ambassador, at present the number of Azerbaijanis evacuated from Ukraine to Moldova is 4,000 people.

The ambassador noted that the evacuation will be carried out by buses. Each bus will have 70 passengers. In addition, 174 people will be delivered from Romania to Azerbaijan by plane. Conditions have been created for the evacuation of many of our citizens in their own cars. The embassy should meet and accommodate them. In general, 600-700 Azerbaijanis are planned to be evacuated from Moldova today. He also said that the Azerbaijanis, who had been evacuated by buses in previous days, had already arrived in Istanbul.
