Drugs worth more than 20 million manat seized in a month

In January 2022, more than 614 kg of drugs were seized from illicit trafficking, oxu.az reports.

Of these, 265 kg 299 g – heroin, 204 kg 953 g – marijuana, 76 kg 032 g – opium, 4 kg 993 g – hashish, 60 kg – psychotropic substances, the rest – other narcotic drugs. The total cost is 20,711,000 manats.

During the reporting period, 969 facts were revealed in connection with drugs, 342 of them were related to the sale. 463 people were brought to criminal responsibility for committing crimes of this category.
