The General Staff of Ukraine: there are fierce battles

Haqqin.az reports with reference to Interfax-Ukraine that the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports that the Armed Forces of Ukraine and units of the Security and Defense Forces continue to fight to liberate cities from Russian troops.

The report notes that “…not only the armed units of the Ukrainian defenders, but also ordinary unarmed people inflict damage on the enemy with active hostilities…”.

At the same time, Russian troops “continue shelling the civilian population, inflicting missile and bomb strikes on critical infrastructure facilities and residential buildings, hospitals, kindergartens.”

“The armed forces of Ukraine continue to hold certain lines in all directions, and in some directions they counterattack and force the enemy to retreat with losses, disrupt rear communications and deliver crushing blows,” the General Staff summed up.
