Detained on suspicion of drug trafficking

Over the past 15 days, officers of the Yasamal District Anti-Drug Department have detained 21 persons suspected of drug trafficking, oxu.az reports.

On all revealed facts, a criminal case was initiated in the investigative department of the RUP.

Each of the detainees was taken into custody by court decisions. In total, three kilograms of heroin and methamphetamine were seized from them. In their testimony, they confessed to the crime.

An investigation is underway on all the facts in the Yasamal district police department.

Law enforcement agencies continue to take prompt measures to identify and capture persons involved in drug trafficking in the region.
