Funds to fight coronavirus in 2021 made public

The report of the Cabinet of Ministers for 2021 indicates that in the country, as part of the fight against the ongoing coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), actually 800.8 million manats were used (including 520.9 million manats from the state budget, 279.9 million manat – from the Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund), reports 1News.az

Of the allocated funds, 314.1 million manats were allocated for the purchase of vaccines, 165.8 million manats for the payment of urgent bonuses to the salaries of medical workers, 132.9 million manats for the operation of modular hospitals, 115.3 million manats for the purchase of medicines, medical supplies, equipment and other goods and services, 46.1 million manats – for the purchase of tests (reagents) for COVID-19, 20.8 million manats – for ensuring the activities of medical institutions operating on full self-support and self-financing, 5.0 million manat – to pay for the costs of services provided in quarantine facilities, 0.8 million manat – to fight the pandemic in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
