Over 1,900 drug-related crimes registered in January-February 2022

In January-February of this year, as a result of complex operational and search activities carried out by law enforcement agencies in the field of combating drug addiction and drug trafficking, a total of 1,914 facts of crimes were revealed, reports the information Internet portal report.az with reference to the permanent working group of the State Commission of Azerbaijan on Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Drug Trafficking.

686 facts were related to the illegal sale of narcotic drugs, 1210 – to the illegal acquisition and storage of narcotic drugs, 6 – to the illegal cultivation of plants containing narcotic drugs, 12 – to other crimes from this category.
