The Prosecutor General’s Office warned two news sites

The Prosecutor General’s Office issued a warning to two news sites, the report.az Internet information portal reports with reference to the structure’s press service.

In particular, it was stated that the Prosecutor General’s Office repeatedly appealed to media representatives with a request not to disseminate distorted information not specified by official state bodies. Unfortunately, some media entities disseminate such information without observing professional journalistic activities.

On March 31, 2022, the media entities “gazet.az” and “manset.az” disseminated untrue information that more than 20 people were killed and a large number of people were injured as a result of the collapse of the building of the secondary school No. .

With this in mind, a warning was issued to the indicated Internet resources, which is an act of the prosecutor’s response.
