In March 2022, 26 people tried to cross the border with fake passports

Persons involved in illegal migration were identified last month, APA reports citing the State Border Service.

Thus, 26 people detained in the framework of activities to combat illegal migration on 19 occasions tried to cross the state border using fake passports, with fake Schengen visas and seals, as well as one person who tried to cross the border using other people’s documents.

In 39 cases, 79 people were detained for violating the border regime, and appropriate measures were taken against them.
