In the post-war period, disability was assigned to 2772 participants of the war

In the period after the 44-day Patriotic War, in which the Azerbaijani army won a historic victory under the leadership of the President, the Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population is implementing social support measures on behalf of the head of state, APA reports.

As part of these measures, 15,922 social payments (presidential pension, social benefits, pensions) were assigned to 7,969 family members of martyrs of the Patriotic War, as well as disability and 5,544 social payments were assigned to 2,772 participants in the war. In the first quarter of this year, the process of assigning a monthly pension of the President to persons who were awarded the title of “Veteran of War” was completed.

All social payments were assigned in a proactive manner through the electronic system.
