The brother of the former deputy who died in a pre-trial detention center was detained

Elshan Jabrayilov, the brother of former MP Rafael Jabrayilov, who died while serving his arrest in a pre-trial detention center, has been detained in Baku, oxu.az reports. He was detained on April 11 by officers of the Narimanov district police department based on complaints from citizens.

A number of residents of the capital claim that E. Dzhebrailov committed fraud against them.

Currently, the Investigation Department of the Narimanov District Police Department has initiated a criminal case under Article 178.3.2 (fraud committed with causing large damage) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The district court will make a decision today regarding E. Dzhebrailov.

Earlier, he was recognized as the injured party in the case of his late brother and was interrogated in the Baku Court for Grave Crimes.
