Schoolboy sentenced for stabbing classmate

A trial on a criminal case against Nihad Farhadov, accused of stabbing a classmate, has ended in Baku, APA reports.

At the meeting of the Baku Grave Crimes Court chaired by Judge Rasim Sadikhov, a verdict was read, according to which N. Farhadov was sentenced to 5 years and 7 months.

The crime was committed in January of this year on the territory of the Sabail region. 17-year-old Jamil Hasanov was injured. Schoolboy Nihad Farhadov, suspected of causing bodily harm to Gasanov, was detained.

Both are students of the 11th grade of secondary school No. 162 in Baku.
