Over the past four years, the annual amount for benefits has tripled

Over the past four years, consistent steps have been taken to increase benefits, pensions, and targeted assistance intended for vulnerable groups, the report.az Internet news portal reports, citing the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.

At the same time, the coverage of these social transfers has expanded significantly. These processes also lead to a significant increase in funds allocated to the relevant areas.

In 2018-2022, the annual amount allocated from the state budget for benefits increased 3 times, for pensions – 5.1 times. Annual funds allocated for targeted social assistance increased by 30%.
