Over 12 thousand families of martyrs and veterans involved in active employment programs

After the war, the State Employment Agency attracted more than 12 thousand families of martyrs and veterans to active employment programs, haqqin.az reports citing information provided by the agency at press conference.
Chairman of the State Agency Mustafa Abbasbeyli said that the package of social support implemented by the ministry to the families of martyrs and veterans in the post-war period has already covered 100,000 people. A total of 190,000 services were rendered.
It was noted that work is underway to involve family members of martyrs and war veterans in active employment programs. After the war, the State Employment Agency attracted more than 12 thousand families of martyrs and veterans to active employment programs.
7800 of them were involved in the self-employment program. Small farms and enterprises were created for them.
The employment marathon, launched by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population in 2021, is aimed at supporting the employment of families of martyrs and veterans of the Patriotic War. 1973 of them are veterans, the rest are members of families of martyrs.
