Man arrested for theft from 4 houses

A man has been detained for stealing AZN 113,000 from 4 houses in the Narimanov district of Baku, APA reports quoting the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Thus, the Narimanov district police department received a complaint in connection with the theft of jewelry worth 60,000 manats and fur worth 3,000 manats from an apartment in the Narimanov district of the capital.
Three more residents of the Narimanov district addressed similar statements to the Police Department. They reported that a total of 50,000 manats worth of money and jewelry had been stolen from their homes. During the investigations, as well as inspection of the scene, it was found that the thefts were committed by the same person.

As a result of operational-search activities carried out by employees of the Narimanov district police department, Niyameddin Aliyev, suspected of committing crimes, who had previously been repeatedly convicted for committing thefts, was detained. During a search in his house in the Yasamal district, some of the stolen jewelry was found. Niyameddin Aliyev confessed to the theft.
