Families of martyrs and war invalids provided with housing and cars

In 2021, 3,000 families of martyrs and war invalids were provided with apartments and private houses, and after the 44-day Patriotic War, 3,500 families of martyrs and war invalids.

Over the past 4 years, up to 1,450 war invalids have been provided with cars, and in general, over the past period, 7,400 war invalids have been provided with cars.

APA reports that Vugar Behbudov, chairman of the Social Services Agency, said this at a press conference on issues of providing housing and cars, social services to families of martyrs and war invalids in the post-war period.

He said that on the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev, the program to provide housing for families of martyrs and war invalids was expanded five times in 2021, and last year a program was implemented to provide people with these categories of 3,000 apartments, and this year 50 cars were provided to war invalids. , after the 44-day Patriotic War – 200 cars, and in total for the past period 7400 cars.

The chairman noted that over the past time, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population has provided more than 12,500 families of martyrs and war invalids with apartments or private houses. By the order of the head of state dated August 25, 2021, apartments are also provided to the Heroes of the Patriotic War and the families of those who became martyrs. This year, more than 500 apartments were provided to families from socially vulnerable groups. In total, this year it is planned to provide 1,500 apartments and private houses.
