Former head of district offices of abolished Ministry of National Security sentenced
Accused of fraud, the former head of the Kurdamir and Gusar district offices of the abolished Ministry of National Security, Colonel Bahadir Gojaev, was sentenced to 5 years and 6 months in prison.
According to the Report Internet news portal, the decision was announced at a trial chaired by Judge Irada Hasanzade of the Baku Court for Grave Crimes.
B. Godzhaev also worked for some time as vice-rector of Lankaran State University. The former official was charged with misappropriation of more than 70,000 manats.
