The President of Azerbaijan announced an initiative in connection with the Non-Aligned Movement

Speaking at the conference of the Parliamentary Network of the Non-Aligned Movement in Baku on June 30, 2022, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev put forward a number of initiatives, one of which is the creation of an office to support the Non-Aligned Movement in the UN. This initiative of the President was supported by all members of the organization, oxu.az reports.

In particular, the head of state noted that the time has come for this. The creation of a support office is the next step in the institutional development of the organization. This will play an important role in protecting our interests in the international arena and strengthening solidarity between our countries.
