In the case of the sale of preferential apartments, one person was put on the international wanted list

On March 30, 2022, during the sale of 442 apartments on preferential terms in the Yasamal residential complex, which is another project of the State Housing Development Agency (MİDA), there were cases of interference in the process of choosing apartments by some persons using special software in the field of information technology.

According to APA, an employee of the State Security Service (SSS) Gunel Huseynova said that a criminal case has been initiated on this fact under Articles 273.3.

According to her, during the investigation, the fact of interference during the sale of the 2nd stage of the Yasamal residential complex, which is the next MİDA project, was confirmed. “As a result of operational measures carried out by the Main Investigation Department, the identities of these persons were identified, they were brought in as defendants under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code, and appropriate preventive measures were chosen in relation to them, depending on the circumstances of the case. In addition, one person has been put on an international wanted list,” the SSS officer noted.
