Man arrested for a series of thefts

A man suspected of committing a series of thefts has been detained in the Khachmaz region of Azerbaijan, reports the online news portal report.az, citing the Guba regional group of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Thus, as a result of operational-search activities carried out by police officers in connection with the applications received, a resident of the district, Feyzulla Nurmammadov, suspected of committing thefts, was detained.

During the proceedings, it was established that the suspect stole from several shops in the district various alcoholic beverages, cigarettes, household items and technical equipment totaling more than 3,180 manats, as well as 330 manats in cash.

A criminal case has been initiated on the fact in the Khachmaz regional police department.
