About 800 thousand people are provided with social benefits and pensions

For the period from January to June 2022, the State Social Protection Fund paid social benefits and pensions to almost 800,000 people. APA was told this by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.

It is reported that 434,000 of them are provided with social benefits, 362,000 – with a monthly pension of the President.

AZN 398 million was spent on benefits, which is 35% more compared to the same period last year, and AZN 264 million was spent on pensions, which is 27% more compared to the same period in 2021.

Over the past three years, systems for the proactive assignment of 25 types of benefits and pensions have been launched.
