President Ilham Aliyev: Media played a big role during the Patriotic War

The Republic of Azerbaijan is a modern, strong state pursuing an independent policy and occupying a worthy place in the system of international relations. That is why in the global information space, attempts to undermine the high international prestige of our country and influence its internal life do not stop. During the Patriotic War, the Azerbaijani media, fighting on the information front, played a big role in preventing mass disinformation attacks, promptly and correctly informing our society. According to oxu.az with reference to AZERTAC, this is stated in the address of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to the participants of the International Media Forum on the topic “Global Trends and New Challenges in the Media”, organized in Shusha on the occasion of July 22 – National Press Day.

The head of state noted that our media resources tirelessly continue their activities to bring the Azerbaijani realities to the international community, including the unprecedented atrocities and vandalism committed by Armenians on our historical lands during the period of occupation.
