In the first half of 2022, the transit of 802 kilograms of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances through the territory of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic was prevented, the report.az Internet news portal informs, citing the Chairman of the State Customs Committee of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Sakhat Habibbeyli.

The chairman of the committee noted that the customs authorities of the Autonomous Republic collected 18 million manat in the specified period, fulfilling the budget obligation by 109 percent. The volume of collected customs payments increased by 26 percent compared to the same period last year.

For six months of the current customs authorities revealed 101 facts of an administrative and 9 facts of a criminal nature.
