Ministry of Internal Affairs: 59 drug dealers were detained in July this year

Employees of the Main Anti-Drug Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained 59 members of a criminal group, 8 members of which were engaged in the cultivation of drug-containing plants, during operations carried out in the capital and regions over the past month, APA reports quoting the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

These persons were found to have 331 kilograms of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, 2261 tablets with a psychotropic composition, 2921 hemp bushes, 2 pistols and other items used as knives.

On the facts, criminal cases were initiated under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code, and a preventive measure in the form of arrest was chosen for each.
