Criminal case initiated against a person suspected in fraud

The prosecutor’s office of the Agdash region received an appeal from a local resident that his friend Parvin Aliyev (born 1987) embezzled his money, reports oxu.az

In the course of the investigation, reasonable suspicions arose that P. Aliyev promised to employ the son of an acquaintance in a state structure, having received 7,500 manats from him.

On this fact, a criminal case was initiated under articles 178.2.4 (fraud causing significant damage) and 32.4, 312.1 (incitement to give a bribe) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The investigation is ongoing.
