MLSPP on the registry, which will be created for martyrs, families of martyrs and war invalids

The Resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan approved the “Procedure for maintaining the register of persons who received the status of martyrs and families of martyrs” and the “Procedure for maintaining the register of war veterans”. The resolutions were adopted to ensure the execution of the decrees of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated June 17, 2021. According to the new rules, registers of persons who have received the status of a war veteran, martyr and martyr family will be maintained in the Centralized Electronic Information System of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population (MLSP) in electronic format.

APA reports quoting the ministry that the main purpose of the register is to create a single information base of martyrs, family members of martyrs, disabled and war veterans, collect, process, store relevant information about them, automate its search.

The creation of a unified electronic information base of martyrs, family members of martyrs, disabled people and war veterans will allow in the future to determine their status in real time when applying to state bodies, as well as to flexibly and promptly consider issues of their social security.
