A bribe in the program of university education

The prosecutor’s office of Suvorov district of Odessa sent to a court a criminal case against a head of the department and laboratory assistant of one of the Odessa universities who demanded and received bribes for successful passing exams.

According to press service of the prosecution of Odessa region, in total corrupt officials received $750 and more than 2,200 hryna from students.

Bribe-takers will be judged on Art. 368 p.2 – “Taking a bribe” and Art. 369 p.2 – “Offering or giving a bribe” of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
