Minister: Families of September martyrs will be covered by social support programs

On behalf of the President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, all measures of social support will be provided for the families of martyrs who heroically died in preventing large-scale military provocations of the Armenian armed forces, report.az news portal reports with reference to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.

Representatives of the ministry visited the families of military martyrs and have already begun appropriate work to take social protection measures in connection with them. In order to provide families of martyrs with appropriate social support, local structural units were instructed to provide active support in registration issues.

These families will be provided with insurance payments, monthly social payments (monthly presidential pension, pensions, benefits). At the same time, on a legislative basis, work will be carried out to provide housing, private housing for the families of our military martyrs and to involve them in active employment programs. They will also be provided with a number of other benefits and concessions provided for families of martyrs.

During meetings with family members of martyrs, they are informed about their rights to social protection and social security, concessions and benefits. The families of our military martyrs will be regularly visited, and their social and living conditions will be in the spotlight.
