Suspects of drug trafficking and theft detained

On the basis of the information received, the employees of the Agdash District Police Department carried out operational activities, as a result of which the suspects of committing a series of thefts and illegal drug trafficking were detained, oxu.az reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The regional police department received information about the theft of a mower, an air compressor, car parts and other equipment worth about 1,000 manat in one of the houses located in the city. As a result of the operational and investigative measures, a neighbor of the victim suspected of committing a crime, previously convicted Muzaffar Gadirov, was detained and handed over to the investigation. He confessed to his deed and stated that he had sold the stolen goods at a significantly lower price.

As a result of other operations carried out by police officers, three people were detained on the territory of the district – Nazir Melikov, Elshan Babaev and Khakim Guluev, involved in illegal trafficking in narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances. They were found and seized heroin and methamphetamine.
