Police operation in Sabunchu district: 47 drug dealers detained

Over the past 10 days, 47 people involved in drug trafficking have been detained in the Sabunchi region during operations in the villages of Pirshagi, Kurdakhani, Bakikhanov, Balakhani, Mashtaga and Ramana 1news.az reports citing the press-service of the MIA.

Thus, during the investigation, it was found that several detainees had previously been convicted of the same crimes, that is, for organizing drug trafficking. More than 5 kilograms of various types of drugs were found in the detainees and in the houses where they lived – it is noted that they organized the sale of drugs in these villages.

Police officers continue to take measures to establish criminal connections of the detainees, as well as to detain other persons involved in drug trafficking in the territory of the Sabunchu region.
