About 200 veterans sent to Turkey for treatment

To date, about 200 veterans of the Patriotic War have been sent to Turkey for treatment, many of them have already returned to their homeland, reports the Internet news portal report.az, citing Azerbaijani Health Minister Teymur Musayev, who spoke at the Azerbaijani-Turkish business forum in the field of healthcare.

The minister noted that the restoration of the health of the servicemen wounded in the Patriotic War was entrusted to the medical workers of fraternal Turkey, which became possible due to the development of relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey, which also affect the healthcare sector. He recalled that during the pandemic, during the war and after it, Turkey supported Azerbaijan.
