Drug couriers detained: 6 kilograms of heroin seized

Employees of the Binagadi district police department continue operations against persons involved in the sale of narcotic drugs, 1news.az reports. Thus, in the course of the latest operations carried out last day, Kamran Talybov, who was engaged in drug courier activities, was detained on Gulistan Street in the village of Binagadi. When examining the cargo compartment of the Opel car, in which he was engaged in the activity of a taxi, 3 kilograms of heroin were found and confiscated.

In the course of another operation carried out by employees of the department, another person involved in the sale of drugs, Said Mammadov, was detained. During a personal search, more than 3 kilograms of heroin were found in his possession.

In this regard, a criminal case was initiated in the investigative department of the Binagadi district police department. With regard to Kamran Talybov and Said Mammadov, a preventive measure in the form of detention was chosen by the court. Measures are ongoing to detain other members of the drug network, which includes these individuals.
