Person detained in Russia extradited to Azerbaijan

A man detained in Russia has been extradited to Azerbaijan, oxu.az reports with reference to the press service of the General Prosecutor’s Office of Azerbaijan.

In the course of the investigation of the criminal case, which is being processed by the Gusar District Police Department, reasonable suspicions arose that Namig Alistanov had committed fraud again. He was put on the wanted list with the choice of a measure of restraint in the form of arrest.

The suspect was detained in Russia on July 11, 2022. On October 5, 2022, he was extradited to Azerbaijan, accompanied by a special escort of the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice.
