Persons who tried to sell a large consignment of drugs detained

As a result of operational-search activities carried out by officers of the Bilasuvar district police department, persons were detained who tried to organize the sale of drugs purchased abroad through social networks in the country, reports the online news portal report.az with reference to the Lankaran regional group of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Thus, as a result of the measures taken, residents of the city of Mingachevir Rovshan Azayev and Samira Najafli were detained. About 1 kg 500 g of heroin was confiscated from them. The drugs were found to have been purchased from a drug dealer living abroad.

During the operational-search activities of the Bilasuvar district police department, 10 residents of the district involved in drug trafficking were also detained.

Over the current year, employees of the Bilasuvar District Police Department seized more than 103 kilograms of narcotic drugs from illegal circulation.
