A criminal case was initiaed on the fact of misappropriation of funds belonging to the company

A criminal case has been initiated in Lankaran on the fact of misappropriation of 19,630 manats belonging to the company, reports oxu.az.

On the basis of the received application for misappropriation of funds from Aqrar İnnovasiya və Təchizat Şirkəti CJSC, an investigation was conducted in the supervisory authority.

During the investigation, reasonable suspicions arose that Revan Shukurov, who worked at the CJSC as a warehouse seller, on March 16, 2021, received funds in the amount of 19,630 manats on the basis of acceptance certificates, proceeds from the sale of products of various types and varieties, did not transfer them to company account, but appropriated.

On this fact, a criminal case was initiated in the prosecutor’s office of the Lankaran region under articles 179.2.3 (misappropriation or embezzlement by a person using his official position) and 179.2.4 (with causing significant damage) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
