A single electronic platform in the field of healthcare is being created in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan is discussing the creation of a single electronic platform in the field of healthcare. Report informs, Chairman of the Board of the State Compulsory Medical Insurance Agency Zaur Aliyev said.

Recalling that a lot of work has been done in the medical institutions run by TƏBİB, the chairman noted that registration of all patients in hospitals is carried out electronically. According to him, citizens can go to their personal account and get information about the medical services they receive online.

Stressing that the laboratories of 50 medical institutions have been digitized, Z. Aliyev said that some problems still remain. In particular, the issue of creating a single electronic platform in the field of healthcare is currently being discussed in the country. It involves the integration of medical institutions under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Health and TƏBİB, as well as medical institutions under other ministries and private medical clinics.
