Presidents of Azerbaijan and Turkey take part in solemn events in Zangilan

Today, October 20, 2022, the opening ceremony of the Zangilan International Airport took place. The opening ceremony of the airport was attended by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, APA reports. The Presidents of Azerbaijan and Turkey cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the airport.

The heads of state got acquainted with the conditions created at the airport. President of Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL) Jahangir Askerov informed the heads of state about the work done.

Then, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan laid the foundation of the Gumlag station, located on the section of the Horadiz-Agbend railway line passing through the Jabrayil region. Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev informed the heads of state about the Horadiz-Agbend railway line and the Gumlag station.

Further, the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Turkey, Ilham Aliyev and Recep Tayyip Erdogan, took part in the opening of the first stage of the Dost Aqropark smart agriculture complex in the Zangilan region. The heads of state were informed about the complex.

Then the concert program was presented. Azerbaijani President and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke at the event.

Further, the heads of state cut the red ribbon, symbolizing the opening of the first stage of the Dost Aqropark smart agriculture complex.
