Customs prevented smuggling of a large consignment of smartphones

As a result of comprehensive measures taken by the employees of the State Customs Committee (SCC) of Azerbaijan, smuggling of mobile phones and other goods into the country was prevented.

It was noted that employees of the Operations Department of the Main Operations and Investigation Department found 176 boxes of Parliament cigarettes not marked with excise stamps, 25 smartphones of various brands, including iPhone and Samsung, 48 mobile phone screens, three adapters and 21 charging wires, 13 iPhone cases, two screen protectors, eight iPhone and Samsung smartwatches, a box of smartwatch accessories, one iPad, two empty iPad cases, one MacBook, 30 video game discs, 50 e-shishas, ​​13 containers with nutritional supplements, 25 bottles of perfumes, as well as jewelry – two watches and four rings.

These facts are being investigated.
