Police operation in Lankaran: drug traffickers detained

Over the past 10 days, employees of the Lankaran District Police Department have carried out operational-search measures to counter illegal drug trafficking, oxu.az reports with reference to the regional group of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country.

So, as a result of the raids, 22 people suspected of drug trafficking were detained. During a personal search, a large amount of drugs was found and seized from them.

Law enforcement officers are investigating to establish criminal connections of the suspects, as well as to detain other persons involved in drug trafficking in the region.
