Buyer detained for paying with counterfeit banknotes

In Baku, employees of the Security Department of the Sabunchi District detained a man who paid in a store in the Savalan residential area with two counterfeit banknotes of 200 manats each, oxu.az reports citing the press service of the country’s Interior Ministry.

The incident occurred on December 19, 2022 at 02:35. The detainee is a resident of Baku, Tural Bedzhanov. He was taken to the 14th police station.

The matter is under investigation.
