State Security Service: Persons who were on the international wanted list were extradited to Azerbaijan

The State Security Service is carrying out investigative actions on a criminal case initiated on the facts of attracting citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan to create an illegal armed formation, conduct special military training outside the country by instilling radical extremist religious ideas in them, committing terrorist and sabotage acts on the territory various states under different names, while hiding his real identity, reports the report.az news agency, citing the State Security Service.

Taleh Yusifov was brought to justice as an accused under articles 12.1, 279.1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan (participation in the creation and activities of armed groups outside the Republic of Azerbaijan, not provided for by law). After conducting investigative actions, it was established that Taleh Yusifov was hiding, having moved to the territory of a foreign state, he was detained and extradited to Azerbaijan as part of the mutual legal assistance procedure for international search.

The criminal investigation is currently ongoing.
