Smuggling of 10 kg of drugs from Iran to Azerbaijan prevented

Azerbaijani border guards prevented the smuggling of 10 kilograms of drugs from Iran to Azerbaijan, report.az news agency reported citing the State Border Service.

Thus, on December 25, 2022, at 23:25, officers of the Frontier Outpost Service, located near the village of Araz Zerger, Fizuli region, found and seized two bundles of narcotic substances with a total weight of 9 kg 640 gr (7 kg 620 gr of marijuana and 2 kg 020 gr opium).
