Heydar Aliyev Foundation organized a New Year celebration for children

On the eve of the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis and the New Year, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation organized a New Year’s celebration for children in need of special care, oxu.az reports. Children with disabilities, pupils of various orphanages and boarding schools, as well as children from martyr families were invited to the festive celebration in the Gulustan Palace. As in previous years, they were delivered to the venue of the festive celebration on specially dedicated buses.

In the Gulustan Palace, decorated in the New Year’s spirit, the children were met by fairy-tale heroes. Through drawings in the style of face art, they were given the opportunity to “revive” any fairy-tale hero.

The festive celebration began with a video showing the care of the national leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev about children, his participation in different years in festive celebrations for children on the occasion of the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis and the New Year.

Children who danced and sang songs in a hall decorated with New Year’s paraphernalia celebrated the holiday surrounded by famous artists, heroes of their favorite fairy tales and cartoons. The musical entertainment program was prepared with the participation of various children’s groups and artists of Azerbaijan.

The Heydar Aliyev Foundation, headed by Mehriban Aliyeva, pays special attention to solving the problems of children deprived of parental care, with disabilities, children from martyr families, surrounds them with constant care.

At the end of the entertainment program, which lasted about two hours, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation presented children with holiday gifts.
