MLSPP: Targeted assistance will increase by 36 percent this year

The threshold of the need criterion for 2023 is set at 246 manats, with an increase of 23 percent compared to last year. At the same time, the amount of targeted assistance will also increase. The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population told APA that the increase in the criterion of need affects the increase in targeted assistance provided to low-income families.

In general, it is expected that the average monthly amount of targeted social assistance per family will be about 535 manat, an increase of 36 percent this year compared to the corresponding figure in 2022.
