Fraud broker convicted

The Sumgayit Grave Crimes Court has completed the consideration of the criminal case of Vagif Hasanov (name and surname conditional) accused of fraud, oxu.az reports. At the trial, presided over by Judge Fikret Aliyev, a verdict was read, according to which V. Hasanov was sentenced to seven years in prison.

According to the criminal case, the accused, using the trust of two citizens, fraudulently embezzled from them a total of 198,900 manats.

V. Gasanov bought apartments without repair, repaired and sold them. He promised two people from participating in this scheme profit, thus receiving money from them. But the broker did not keep his promise.
