Suspect detained for deliberately setting fire to stores in Sadarak shopping center

A suspect in the deliberate arson of 27 stores in the Sadarak shopping center has been detained, report.az news agency reports, citing a joint statement by the Prosecutor General’s Office and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan.

So, on January 8, 2023, at about 18:00, a fire broke out in the Sadarak shopping center in the Garadagh district of Baku.

During the preliminary investigation, it was revealed that the arson of 27 objects of tenants and owners was arranged by Afgan Abdullayev, a resident of Baku.

In fact, a criminal case has been initiated.
