Music college director detained for bribery

As a result of operational-search activities carried out by the Main Anti-Corruption Department under the Prosecutor General, the illegal actions of the director of the Aghdam Music College Rafail Musayev were exposed, report.az news agency reports citing the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office.

Thus, reasonable suspicions were revealed that in the period from 2019 to 2023, R. Musaev received large bribes in exchange for the allocation of study hours, hiring, grading in exams, etc.

In this regard, a criminal case was initiated at the General Directorate, on the basis of the collected preliminary evidence, he was charged under Articles 311.3. By the decision of the court in relation to R. Musaev, a measure of restraint in the form of house arrest with removal from office was chosen.
