251 criminal groups neutralized in Azerbaijan last year

Last year, 251 criminal groups were neutralized in Azerbaijan, oxu.az reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

This was stated by the head of the department, Colonel-General Vilayat Eyvazov, at a meeting of the collegium of the ministry dedicated to the activities of the internal affairs bodies in 2022 and the upcoming tasks.

It was noted that 202 people were brought to justice for illegal possession and carrying of firearms, 557 wanted persons were detained.
