Ministry of Labor: more than 600 young people received professional and social rehabilitation services

In 2022, 603 young people were provided with professional and social rehabilitation services at the Center for Occupational and Labor Rehabilitation of the Disabled of the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Azerbaijan, oxu.az reports citing the press service of the Ministry. Of these, 420 citizens with disabilities attended preparatory courses for computer users, computer designer, tailor, hairdresser, weaver, wood carving, cook assistant, carpet weaving, painting, cooking, etc. Others were provided with social rehabilitation services.

Those admitted to the center receive a hostel, meals, etc. at the state expense. Currently, 212 people are undergoing a course of professional and social rehabilitation in this center. To date, 2,600 young people from all regions of our country have taken these courses.
