Police detained drug dealers

During the measures carried out by employees of the Sabunchu district police department in the villages of Balakhani, Sabunchu and Ramana, four people were detained who were involved in drug trafficking, Report news agency reported citing the Ministry of Internal Affairs. About 5 kg of drugs were found and confiscated from the detainees and in their homes.

During the investigation, it was established that the detainees Azer Abbasov, Dadash Dadashov, Eldaniz Gakhramanov and Ramiz Tahmazov, having entered into a criminal conspiracy with Iranian citizens, performed the function of drug couriers for them.

During the next operational event, the police officers detained Sahib Mehdiyev, who illegally stored weapons. During the search, a Kalashnikov assault rifle, 4 cartridges and a clip were found and seized from him.

In addition, the police detained Babek Mammadov and Telman Aliyev, who had committed thefts from about 10 houses in the Sabunchu region.
