Smuggling of a large consignment of drugs from Iran to Azerbaijan prevented

On March 9, 2023, at 22:20, as a result of the vigilance of the border guards, the smuggling of a large consignment of drugs from the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Azerbaijan through the service area of the frontier post of the Goytepe border detachment of the State Border Service (SBS), located near the village of Yukhari Agali, Bilasuvar region of Azerbaijan, was stopped. So, as a result of the operational search activities carried out on the territory, drugs with a total weight of 61 kg 810 gr were found and seized.
